Information Technology dominates the fastest growing industries in the United States.  With the rapid growth of technology and the shift towards a digital world, there is a deeper need for all business to foster and maintain an IT strategy.  Not to forget the simultaneously rapid growth of firms like mobile app companies and other technology-focused businesses which are seeing a massive increase in worth. IT Consultant

An IT Consultant advises businesses how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. They work to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in various environments. The increase of companies utilizing information technology has led to a growing demand for consultants who can advise them on how to best implement the new strategies.

IT Project Manager

An IT Project Manager is charged with overseeing the process of planning, executing and delegating responsibilities around an organization's information technology pursuits and goals. They can either be senior members of an existing IT team or can be someone brought in who has expertise in the project field.

Software Engineer

A software engineer is schooled and skilled in the application of engineering discipline to the creation of software. Not to be confused with a programmer who is tasked with creating the code that makes a program run, a software engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing the software solutions programmers create.

Web Developer

A Web developer specializes in the development of applications relating to the World Wide Web or distributed network applications. A Web developer is usually concerned with the programming (back end) aspect of creating a website or Web application and is not to be confused with a Web designer who specializes in the GUI aesthetics (front-end) of a website or application.  Many professionals however, have both skill sets.

Database Developer

A database developer is responsible for working on database technologies. Where database administrators are more focused on routine maintenance and support for an existing database setup, database developers tend to focus more on building new databases, improving databases and expanding their range or functionality.

Network Administrator

A Network Administrator maintains computer infrastructures with an emphasis on networking. Their responsibilities may vary between organizations, but on-site servers, software-network interactions as well as network integrity/resilience are the key focus areas.

Data Security Administrator

A data security administrator ensures data security. They are responsible for implementing security systems that provide detection, prevention, containment, and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of data files.
