Cirdan Group to provide project management support to the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange

Starting May 1, Cirdan Group began providing project management support to the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE). Cirdan will provide expert knowledge in project management and large scale government IT systems development, specifically in the health care field.  In addition, Cirdan will work with the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), and the Department of Human Resources (DHR) to implement several of the key aspects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). To that end, Cirdan will assist with the project that will develop the required information technology and operational capabilities to establish Maryland’s Health Insurance Exchange (HIX), which will provide residents and small businesses with the capability to compare and enroll in health plans.

Cirdan Group Awarded Project Management Services Contract with the MD State Police

Cirdan Group is pleased to announce it has been awarded a consulting contract through the CATS II BPO vehicle from the Maryland State Police for Project Management Services to support its Enterprise Computer Aided Dispatch/Records Management System Implementation. Cirdan will be supplying Functional Project Management and Requirements Management services to the agency through  September 2014.

A sold-out crowd for the Reston Luncheon Series of the Project Management Institute- Washington, DC Chapter was treated to an entertaining and informative presentation by Cirdan Group’s Yvette Rivers, PMP. Speaking at the November 16th event, Yvette’s presentation entitled “Disaster Averted! Avoiding Common Project Management Pitfalls” condensed knowledge from her extensive experience in independent assessments of large scale projects into 10 common mistakes to avoid for successful project outcomes. Cirdan Group to Join Capgemini on PA IV&V Contract

With Cirdan Group as a subcontractor, Capgemini successfully bid on the Pennsylvania Department of General Services RFQ 61000014052 to provide IV&V services and related project management support for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s (PaDOR) Integrated Tax System, a central component of the larger PaDOR Modernization Program. Cirdan Group brings its prior IV&V experience on the Comptroller’s Maryland Integrated Tax System (MITS).
