Cirdan Group launched in 2003 to address a clear need in the public sector for the utilization of project management best practices to minimize cost, schedule, and quality risk. Our first project was an independent assessment of an $80M State of Maryland information technology project – our assessment saved the state millions of dollars. Today, we are a well-established firm known for our no-nonsense program and project management expertise. To date, we have performed more than 30 IV&Vs for our clients, all of whom are repeat customers. Our clients also rely on us to provide project management, business analysis, technical writing, and procurement management support. Joanne P. Vatz, PMP
President and Founder
Joanne is the President and owner of Cirdan Group, Inc. She is a certified PMP with over 25 years of experience managing, directing, and developing enterprise-level technology programs for the financial services, government, retail, manufacturing, and health care industries. Her expertise includes IT strategic planning and analysis, risk and program independent verification and validation (IV&V) evaluations, and development of Program Management Offices (PMO). Joanne has worked with many agencies in the State of Maryland, Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, Credit Suisse First Boston, DuPont, The World Bank, MedStar Health, Branch Banking and Trust, the US Postal Service, and Israel Chemical Corporation. She is a board member of the Multinational Development for Women in Technology and Baltimore’s Lyric Opera Foundation.
